Chazutsu - Tea Caddy

“CHAZUTSU” is a cylinder shaped airtight container of Japanese origin. It is used to protect foodstuffs (such as green tea leaves) from moisture and humidity it can also be used to hold other things as well. In Japan many have been used for generations. Chazutsu possesses both Function and Beauty. Chazutsu is practical as well as an object of art. The craftspeople of Kaikado meticulously hand craft each caddy in Kaikado’s fifth generation 1875 Kyoto studio.
