Tweed Emphasized Scarf - Double White

Drawing inspiration from nature, woven on industrial looms almost a century old, Mourne Textile’s new range of luxury scarves keep cold at bay. They are crafted from materials such as Merino Wool, Cashmere and Silk, in colours that include Indigo and textured Grey.

These scarves are woven on vintage shuttle looms in our workshop at the foothills of the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. Our Hattersley looms, first developed in 1919, are tried and tested over decades, creating a rich weave and woven selvedge.

Part of our On the Road range, this scarf gives a nod to the urban rather than rural landscape. The ‘block-paving’ style of the Tweed Emphasize weave and the contrasting colour stripes reflect the textures and markings of metropolitan streets.
